Welcome to RRRUFF! By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
RRRUFF! is an Australian small business specialising in handmade dog coats, clothing, collars, leads, harnesses and accessories.
1. Handmade & Made-to-Order Products
Many RRRUFF! products are handmade and/or made to order.
Because our products are individually made, small variations in fabric placement, pattern positioning, stitching or finishing may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and are not considered faults.
Please allow the production timeframe shown on our website before your order is dispatched. During busy periods, production times may be longer.
2. Sizing
It is the customer’s responsibility to select the correct size and, where measurements are required, to provide accurate measurements.
Please check our sizing information carefully before ordering.
If you are unsure which size to choose, we encourage you to contact us before placing your order and we will happily help.
Our sizing recommendations are provided as guidance only, as every dog is shaped differently.
3. Custom & Personalised Orders
Custom-made, altered or personalised items are made specifically for you and cannot generally be returned or exchanged because of a change of mind or incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
Please check all measurements, colours and customisation details carefully before confirming your order.
Once work has commenced on a custom item, changes may not be possible.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
4. Prices
All prices displayed on the RRRUFF! website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
We make every effort to ensure our prices and product information are accurate. Occasionally, an incorrect price may be displayed due to human error, a technical issue or a website error.
If we discover an obvious pricing error after an order has been placed, we may contact you before dispatch to explain the error and offer you the option of purchasing the item at the correct price.
Where permitted by law, we may cancel an affected order before dispatch and provide a full refund of any amount paid.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not prevent us from correcting an obvious website or pricing error before dispatch.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Product Colours & Images
We make every effort to display product colours and fabrics accurately.
Colours can vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and individual fabric batches.
For patterned fabrics, the positioning of the print may vary from the product photographed because individual pieces are cut from different sections of the fabric.
6. Availability
As a small handmade business, fabrics and materials may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If we are unable to make your item as ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss an alternative.
If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed upon, we will refund the affected item.
7. Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Because many RRRUFF! products are made to order, we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled once cutting, sewing or production has commenced.
Custom and personalised products cannot generally be cancelled once production has commenced unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
8. Change of Mind Returns
Please choose carefully.
RRRUFF! does not automatically offer refunds for change of mind.
At our discretion, we may agree to an exchange or store credit for an eligible standard product provided it is unused, unworn, clean, in its original condition and returned with its original tags and packaging.
Please contact us before returning any item.
Custom-made, altered, personalised or specially ordered products cannot be returned for change of mind.
Return postage for an approved change-of-mind return is the customer’s responsibility.
9. Incorrect Size
Selecting an incorrect size is considered a change of mind rather than a product fault where the item supplied matches the size ordered.
If you have ordered the wrong standard size, please contact us and we will let you know whether an exchange is available.
Items must be unused, unworn, clean and in their original condition to be considered for an exchange.
Custom-sized or altered products cannot generally be exchanged because of incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
10. Faulty or Incorrect Products
We take great pride in the quality of our handmade products.
If you believe your item is faulty, damaged, not as described or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us with your order details and photographs of the issue where practical.
We may need to inspect the item before determining the appropriate remedy.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply to all products purchased from RRRUFF! and are not excluded or limited by these Terms & Conditions.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Normal Wear & Tear
Dog clothing and accessories are designed for normal intended use but are not indestructible.
Damage caused by chewing, scratching, misuse, accidents, inappropriate washing or drying, normal wear and tear, or use outside the product’s intended purpose is not considered a manufacturing fault.
Customers should regularly inspect collars, leads, harnesses and other safety-related products for signs of wear or damage and discontinue use if the item is damaged or compromised.
12. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are dispatched to the delivery address supplied at checkout.
Please check your address carefully before completing your purchase.
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times are controlled by the relevant postal or courier service and may occasionally be affected by delays outside our control.
Any delivery estimates provided are estimates only.
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided after dispatch.
If you believe your parcel has been lost or significantly delayed, please contact us so we can assist with an enquiry.
13. Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete delivery address was provided, or because the parcel was not collected, additional postage charges may apply before the order can be resent.
14. Care Instructions
Customers are responsible for following any care and washing instructions supplied with the product or shown on our website.
Incorrect washing, drying or treatment may damage fabrics, webbing, hardware or other components and may affect the life of the product.
15. Safety
Please ensure all RRRUFF! products are appropriate for your dog’s size, strength and intended activity.
Collars, harnesses and leads should be correctly fitted and regularly inspected for signs of damage or wear.
No collar, harness or lead can guarantee that a dog will never escape, particularly if incorrectly fitted, damaged or used in circumstances for which it was not designed.
Dogs should be appropriately supervised when wearing clothing or accessories.
16. Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, prices, photographs and other information on our website are accurate.
However, occasional typographical, photographic, technical or administrative errors may occur.
We reserve the right to correct errors and update website information when necessary, subject always to our obligations under Australian law.
17. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where these Terms & Conditions are inconsistent with a right or remedy provided under Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law will apply.
