Martingale collars are commonly worn by Greyhounds because they are less likely to slip off due to their heads being more narrow than their necks.

Martingale collars are not only beautiful but they are the perfect training collar that gently gives you more control while out walking. Being wide at 50mm, they also help to avoid the choking or coughing effect if your hound pulls for any reason (perhaps a cat has come into sight 🐈‍⬛🙀)

This collar size fits a standard greyhound and slips over the head without any strain on your hound’s ears, and then with a wide slider, it adjusts easily down to be a tighter fit for your greyhound whilst walking and then when removing, open the collar up so that it slides back over the dog’s head easily to avoid squeezing the ears

The D Ring used is large, so it’s easy to clip the lead onto it, but it is not advised to leave this collar on when unattended, as with the bigger D Ring, it could get caught on a branch or shrub or perhaps furniture and may become a hazard
